Description
This is an image of a Synchlora Aerata caterpillar which will later transform into the wavy lined emerald moth. Like the decorator crab of the ocean this rarely seen species of caterpillar will attach objects from its environment{like the spearmint flowers in this photo} to the adhesive surface of its body to create one of the most efficient forms of camouflage found in nature.
