Description
A rare image of a tooth shaped wildflower growing among an Appalachian woodland ecosystem in western north Carolina. An interesting fact about symbiotic host species interaction is the extraction method of a bee that will due to limited access to the front, chews a hole in the back of the flower to get to the nectar leaving a recess that resembles a cavity!
